6 cups (1.5 L) apples, thinly sliced
1 tsp (5 mL) fresh lemon zest
1 Tbsp (15 mL) fresh lemon juice
1⁄3 cup (75 mL) Truvía® calorie-free sweetener spoonable*
1 tsp (5 mL) cinnamon, ground
1⁄8 tsp (.625 mL) nutmeg, ground
1⁄2 tsp (2.5 mL) Diamond Crystal® kosher salt
2 Tbsp (30 mL) cornstarch
1 pie crust
2 Tbsp (30 mL) butter
Directions

Assemble all ingredients; preheat oven to 425° F (218°C).

Place apples in bowl, top with lemon zest and juice; set aside.
- 3.
In mixing bowl, place Truvía® calorie-free sweetener, cinnamon, nutmeg, kosher salt, and cornstarch; blend well; pour over apples; mix well.
- 4.
Place pie crust dough on lightly floured surface; roll out; transfer to parchment-lined sheet pan.
- 5.
Place apple mixture into center of pie crust; leaving 11⁄2 inch border around edge of crust; place butter pats on top of apples.
- 6.
Flip up crust edge towards middle, pleating as you fold up.
- 7.
Bake in 425° F (218°C) oven for 45-50 minutes; rotate 180° half way through baking.
- 8.
Cool on wire rack; serve warm or at room temperature.
*This apple galette has 200 calories and 8 grams of sugar per serving as compared to a full-sugar apple galette that has 260 calories and 22 grams of sugar per serving.
