3 oz. unsweetened baking chocolate
1⁄4 cup (50 mL) unsalted butter
1⁄4 cup (50 mL) canola oil
2 large eggs
31⁄2 Tbsp (52.5 mL) Truvía® calorie-free sweetener spoonable*
1⁄4 cup (50 mL) white granulated sugar
1⁄2 tsp ( 2.5 mL) salt
1 tsp (5mL) vanilla extract
2 Tbsp (30 mL) skim milk
3⁄4 cup (175 mL) all-purpose flour
1⁄2 tsp (2.5 mL) baking powder
Optional Garnish:
Make powdered Truvía® sweetener by blending 2 Tbsp (30 mL) + 1 tsp (5 mL) Truvía® calorie-free sweetener spoonable** and 1 Tbsp (15 mL) of corn starch in a blender on high for 1 minute. Lightly sprinkle this powdered garnish on brownies using a tea strainer. Store leftover garnish in a sealed container.
Directions

Assemble all ingredients.

Preheat oven to 325°F (160°C).
- 3.
Place baking chocolate, butter and canola oil in a large microwaveable bowl. Heat for 30 seconds; stir. Repeat and stir to melt the chocolate.
- 4.
Whisk together the eggs, Truvía® calorie-free sweetener, sugar, salt, vanilla and milk in a separate small bowl.
- 5.
Add the egg mixture to the chocolate mixture and stir until well combined.
- 6.
Sift together the flour and baking powder.
- 7.
Fold flour mixture into the chocolate mixture using a rubber scraper, until just combined. Do not over mix.
- 8.
Pour batter into an 8x8-inch square pan.
- 9.
Bake for 22-25 minutes. Do not over bake.
- 10.
Remove from oven and place on a cooling rack for at least 20 minutes.
- 11.
Cut into 16 squares.
*This brownie has 130 calories and 3 grams of sugar per serving as compared to the full-sugar version that has 155 calories and 9 grams of sugar per serving.
